Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and guidelines for using Recursio Labs products, services, and platforms. It applies to all users of our services, including recursiolabs.com, ResumeAI, Arctic Bank, Spheriq, and any other products we operate.

This AUP supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.

When using our services, you must:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of other users
• Use our services only for their intended purpose
• Provide accurate information when creating accounts or submitting forms
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You must not:

• Use our services for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Engage in activities that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• Use our services to distribute unsolicited communications (spam)
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, access controls, or usage limits

Our AI-powered products (including ResumeAI) are designed to assist and augment human capabilities. When using AI features, you agree to the following responsible use principles:

• Review and verify all AI-generated content before professional, official, or public use
• Do not use AI features to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or harmful
• Do not attempt to extract, replicate, or reverse-engineer our AI models or training data
• Do not input sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent
• Do not use AI features to create content that violates intellectual property rights
• Do not use AI features to discriminate against individuals based on protected characteristics
• Acknowledge AI involvement where professional or ethical standards require disclosure

We reserve the right to implement content filters, usage limits, and monitoring systems to ensure responsible use of AI features.

You must not:

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or other disruptive activities
• Intercept or monitor communications not intended for you
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to security@recursiolabs.com instead)

If you discover a security vulnerability, we encourage responsible disclosure. Contact security@recursiolabs.com and we will work with you to address it.

Content submitted to, generated by, or distributed through our services must not:

• Be defamatory, obscene, abusive, threatening, or harassing
• Promote violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Contain child sexual exploitation material
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Violate any person's right to privacy or data protection
• Constitute hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Contain deliberate misinformation intended to cause harm

If you access our services programmatically or through APIs:

• You must authenticate all requests with valid credentials
• You must respect rate limits and usage quotas
• You must not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without permission
• You must cache responses appropriately to minimise unnecessary requests
• You must clearly identify your application in request headers (User-Agent)
• Commercial use of API access requires a separate agreement

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us immediately at abuse@recursiolabs.com. Include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, any relevant URLs or account information, and supporting evidence.

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports can be made anonymously, though providing contact details helps us follow up effectively.

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• A warning notice detailing the violation and required corrective action
• Temporary suspension of your access to affected services
• Permanent termination of your account and access to all services
• Removal of offending content without notice
• Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities where appropriate
• Pursuit of legal remedies including damages and injunctive relief

The severity of our response will be proportionate to the nature and impact of the violation. We aim to resolve issues through communication before resorting to punitive measures.
